What We Need You To Do

Download and complete the financial disclosure document (click here to download) and bring it to Legal Aid for your first meeting.

Bring any documents you have that are connected with your legal problem something that explains the nature of the problem like a utility bill or an eviction notice or benefits declination letter.

Legal Aid Services: What We Don’t Do

We do not take criminal or traffic cases. If you were charged with committing a crime, you will want a lawyer to represent you. If you cannot afford an attorney, you may be eligible for a public defender, and can ask for that with the court.

Here is contact information for public defender’s offices.

Hamilton County Public Defender: 513 946-3700 or

Butler County: 513.887.3540 or

Brown County: 740.593.6400

Clermont County: 513.732.7223 or

Clinton County: 937.382.1316 or

Highland and Warren Counties: There are no public defender’s offices. The courts in those counties appoint an attorney for eligible defendants.
